Initially reserved for the know-how of the Moroccan Jewish craftsmen in XVème century, the jewels were then carried out by town and country craftsmen.
The townsmen had a preference for gold and their jewels which are of an incomparable quality and a smoothness; the countrymen as for them preferred the work of the money.
Generally realized in the areas of south and of the Souss, the Berber jewels succeeded in acquiring a world reputation, as much for their quality that for their original models
